What is the game about

Tales of Arise (テイルズオブアライズ Teiruzu obu Araizu?) Is an upcoming original Tales title. It was announced on June 9, 2019 during Microsoft’s presentation at E3 2019. The first information about the game was leaked on June 7, 2019 and quickly spread across the internet. The game was initially announced with a release window set for 2020, but on June 25, 2020, it was announced that Tales of Arise would be released after 2020, but no specific date was provided. On April 21, 2021, it was announced that the game will be released on November-9, 2021. It is the first original title to be released simultaneously worldwide.

The story is about The inhabitants of the planet Dahna have always revered Rena, the planet of heaven, as a land of the righteous and divine. However, the stories passed down from generation to generation have distorted the truth for the people of Dahna. Rena has ruled Dahna for the past 300 years, plundering the world from below its resources and its people from their dignity and freedom. After Rena enslaved Dahna, she divided her up with «walls» and introduced the Lords as Rena’s representatives to keep them in check.
