The 7 Fastest Cars In Gran Turismo 7 (complete guide)

Do not miss our guide with the fastest cars in Gran Turismo 7 and learn how you can get them in the game.

Unlike real life, Gran Turismo has allowed players for decades to drive cars well beyond most means, including those that aren’t evem street legal. Many of these vehicles are not only expensive, but also powerful. Gran Turismo 7 has no shortage of fast cars; in fact, every car on this list is over 1,000 horsepower.

Below is the list of the fastest cars available on Brand Central for purchase based on total horsepower (HP). While power isn’t all that comes into play when it comes to speed, it does play a big role. Most of these cars will be Vision Gran Turismo (VGT) models, although the final entry on the list is actually a drift car.

1. SRT Tomahawk X VGT (2586 hp)

Make:   Dodge
Country:   United States of America
Price:   1,000,000 credits
Performance Points:   1,336.12

The fastest car in the game by horsepower, the  Dodge SRT Tomahawk X VGT  comes in at 2,586 horsepower. Its aerodynamic design and maximum torque were made to maximize the SRT’s massive power and top speed.

The biggest question with any car with immense power, but especially with this SRT, is how much control will you be able to exert. A slight movement of the joystick at high speeds may be all it takes to crash into walls or lose control and spin. A 4-wheel drive system helps, but it will still be a challenge. In any case, use this car with extreme caution.

The Tomahawk X VGT SRT is available from Brand Central. Like most VGT models, it costs one million credits.

2. VGT SV (1876 hp)

Brand:   Jaguar
Country:   UK
Price:   1,000,000 Credits
Performance Points:   1,035.59

A car featured in the Gran Turismo 7 opening video, the Jaguar VGT SV is no slouch, but it’s still nearly 700 horsepower less than the SRT Tomahawk X VGT. Still, the VGT SV has 1,876 horsepower.

However, the biggest difference between the two is that the VGT SV has a longer, fuller body that makes it weigh nearly 1,400 pounds more at just over 3,000 pounds. It is also an electric vehicle, which is more common among VGT models in the game than other makes and models.

Now that extra weight can actually give you better control than the X VGT. Due to its massive power, having a heavier frame to stabilize power should make it easier to maneuver in the VGT SV. Regardless, with any of the cars on this list, be careful.

The Jaguar VGT SV is available through Brand Central. It costs a million credits.

3. VGT (1,626 hp)

Brand:   Bugatti
Country:   France
Price:   1,000,000 credits
Performance Points:   906.75

Modeled after the Veyron, the Bugatti VGT has even more horsepower than its inspiration, and the Veyron is one of the fastest cars out there. The Bugatti VGT has 1,626 horsepower and weighs just over 3,000 pounds.

Because of its power, weight, and strong brakes, the VGT also packs a ridiculous 1,350-plus pound-feet of torque. for 3,500 rpm. This should help stabilize the vehicle and at the same time overtake almost every car in the game at high speed. Of the three so far, it might be the best vehicle overall, although its PP doesn’t go above 1000.

The Bugatti VGT is available through Brand Central. It costs a million credits.

4. SRT Tomahawk GTS-R VGT (1449 hp)

Make:   Dodge
Country:   United States of America
Price:   1,000,000 credits
Performance Points:  1,140.56

The second Dodge VGT to make this list, the SRT Tomahawk GTS-R VGT has nearly 1,000 less horsepower than the Model X VGT, putting it second among the three Dodge VGT cars. It has 1,449 horsepower and, like its counterparts, is very light at just under 1,500 pounds.

It has similar bodywork to the Model X VGT, with a little more gloss that solidly identifies it as an SRT. It’s a bit lower and the cornering isn’t as sharp, which also helps explain a nearly 200-pound difference. However, you will likely still experience control issues at high speeds due to the combination of power and weight.

The Dodge SRT Tomahawk GTS-R VGT is available through Brand Central. It cost a million credits.

5. VGT (1,134 hp)

Make:   McLaren
Country:   UK
Price:   1,000,000 Credits
Performance Points:   989.88

Second UK car on this list, the McLaren VGT does what McLaren does best: go fast. The McLaren VGT has 1,134 horsepower from just under 2,000 pounds.

It’s also outnumbered by two others on this list for having a visible rear wing; other vehicles on this list have the spoiler popping up at high speeds. It’s also the only car with an MR transmission and one of only two without all-wheel drive on this list.

The McLaren VGT shouldn’t be that hard to drive because while it tops 1000 horsepower, it’s not much more than that and its weight should help with stability. Its torque leaves a bit to be desired, though, but either way, it’ll still be quick.

The McLaren VGT is available through Brand Central. It cost a million credits.

6. VGT (1,096 hp)

Make:   Porsche
Country:   Germany
Price:   1,000,000 credits
Performance Points:   809.46

Porsche makes an appearance with its Vision Gran Turismo entry for Gran Turismo 7. The Porsche VGT has 1,096 horsepower and is the second and last electric vehicle on this list after the Jaguar VGT SV.

It comes in at just over 3,000 pounds, which will help with control and stability. The weight matches the transmission of the Porsche VGT well.

The Porsche VGT is available through Brand Central. It costs a million credits.

7. BRZ ’17 Drift Car (1037 hp)

Make:   Subaru
Country:   Japan
Price:   400,000 credits
Performance Points:   604.96

The only non-Vision Gran Turismo car on this list, the 2017 Subaru BRZ Drift Car has the advantage over the 2014 Ferrari FXX K in having three more horsepower. It is the only car on this list with an FR transmission.

The Drift Car has 1,037 horsepower and 875 ft-lbs. per 5,000 rpm of torque. It’s the heaviest car of the bunch at over 3,100 pounds. As a drift car, it might not be the easiest to control, unless you’re an expert drifter. On the other hand, the car would be the perfect choice for drift tests in Gran Turismo 7.

The 2017 Subaru BRZ Drift Car is available through Brand Central. It costs 400,000 credits.
