What’s the game about
In this third-person survival horror narrative game set 300 years from now, the player must play the role of Jacob Lee, who, by fate, ends up in the Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security prison located on the moon of Jupiter, Callisto. When the inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, chaos breaks out in the prison. In order to survive, Jacob must escape from the Dark Iron prison. Along the way, he will discover the dark and disturbing secrets that lurk beneath the surface of Callisto. Using a unique combination of melee and ranged combat, Jacob must constantly alter his strategy as the creatures evolve, as well as gain new weapons, equipment, and abilities, to escape the threat and horrors of Jupiter’s Dead Moon that hover over him.
The Callisto Protocol is a next generation survival horror game conceived by Glen Schofield. Combining tension and brutality with poignant scenes of despair and humanity, it immerses players in a fast-paced story fraught with unspeakable horrors lurking around every corner.
Set on Jupiter’s dead moon Callisto in the year 2320. In the game, you will play Jacob Lee, an inmate of the Black Iron prison. When a mysterious outbreak unleashes chaos on the moon, Jacob must face his worst fears to defeat the bloodthirsty creatures that stalk him while he unravels the dark mysteries behind the powerful United Jupiter Company.
In The Callisto Protocol, you must master an exciting combination of melee and ranged combat, and even a unique gravity weapon that the Dark Iron prison guards used to control the inmates. Come face to face with your terrifying adversaries, lopping off their limbs, blowing off their legs, and taking advantage of what the environment has to offer to get out alive from all the dangers that await you along the way.
One of the most hostile and isolated environments in the universe, Callisto poses a terrifying threat to Jacob in his desperate fight for survival. In addition to fending off the horrors of the Dark Iron prison, you’ll face the centuries-old secrets that loom over the surface and depths of Jupiter’s dead moon.
