Trophy Guide for Little Nightmares III — Complete Achievements

Guide version: Roadmap, complete table, and explanation for each trophy. Ideal for obtaining the Platinum.

Introduction

This guide covers the 32 trophies of Little Nightmares III: complete table, step-by-step explanation, and an optimized route to obtain the Platinum with minimal effort and without missing collectibles. Most trophies are offline; there are two trophies with an online/co-op component that I describe in the route. I include tips for each trophy and how to avoid common mistakes.

General advice: activate the chapter selector once you finish your first playthrough if you want to redo sections and collect items without replaying the entire game.

Details and how to obtain each trophy (trophy by trophy explanation)

Chapter 1 — Necropolis

Child’s Play (Silver) — Progress

Story trophy. Obtained naturally by completing the first chapter (Necropolis). It is not missable and appears during normal progress.

Tip: do not try to restart the scene to «farm it»; progress normally, and it will appear at the end of the chapter.

Peekaboo (Silver) — Do not die with the big baby

Requirement: do not die during all interactions with the big baby. There are 9 interactions: including two chases, a fall, and several sections where you must hide from the eye/light. The trophy pops when exiting the baby’s area after the last interaction.

Tip: if you die during an interaction, use the chapter selector to repeat the section and practice without pressure. Stay calm when the baby is chasing.

The Windy City (Bronze) — Last-second parachute

Open the umbrella just at the last moment before impacting on the fall. There are several points where you can practice: right after receiving the umbrella, halfway through the chapter, and in the final fall. If done correctly, the trophy will appear upon landing.

Birdbrained (Silver) — Shoot the crows

As Alone, there are up to 14 crows in the chapter; you need to shoot down 11 for the trophy. Use Alone’s signature weapon and check elevated areas where they tend to perch. If you miss, return with chapter selection and complete the missing crows.

Toybox (Silver) — 5 dolls from Chapter 1

There are 5 dolls in Necropolis. Check every nook: behind platforms, small hidden rooms, and under areas that appear after story events. The doll catalog serves for major trophies (Loose Threads).

Reference: use the collectibles list if you need exact positions (chapter select can be used).

Chapter 2 — Candy Factory

Unsavory Delicacies (Bronze)

After fleeing from the old woman, in a hallway with candies, collect three pieces and throw them through the grate on the right; go through the grate and throw the candies to the insects. Doing so will trigger the trophy.

If an enemy interrupts you, restart from the last checkpoint and repeat the section calmly.

Another One in the Bag (Bronze)

At the point with two fuses: take the right path, collect the ball, lift it to the elevator; after using the elevator, throw the ball into the basket to complete the minigame and obtain the trophy.

Candy Shop (Silver) — 5 dolls from Chapter 2

Look for the 5 dolls scattered throughout the factory — many are in «alternative» rooms that you will discover if you explore each path instead of progressing in a straight line. Check ducts and rooms behind doors.

Unsupervised (Silver) — Progress

Automatic trophy upon completing Chapter 2.

Chapter 3 — Carnevale

Light or Flight (Bronze)

Story trophy: you will collect a lantern in the first half of the chapter. Keep in mind that in co-op, the lantern is received by the first player who touches it (you can repeat on the second lantern if necessary).

Stay Tuned (Bronze)

In a hallway, you will find a piano: move over its keys several times (go back and forth) until a hidden entrance opens — the trophy will pop after repeating the pattern indicated by the area.

Home Sweet Nome (Silver)

Embrace (interact with) the 6 Nomes in the first half of Carnevale. The Nomes are small creatures with triangular hats; they will appear in specific rooms that link to alternative paths.

Omnipresence (Silver)

Destroy the 10 statues of «The Lady» scattered in the second half of the chapter. You can throw or shoot the statues; check the statue notes if you are missing any at the end of the chapter.

Token Gestures (Silver)

Collect the 10 dolls from Chapter 3; part of the major trophy Loose Threads.

Aim Low (and Alone) (Bronze)

Complete the small shooting booth in Carnevale: aim only at the correct targets (the ones with Nome). If you fail the sequence, restart the section or use chapter select.

Showstoppers (Silver) — Progress

Obtained by finishing Carnevale.

Chapter 4 — The Institute

Illuminating Experiences (Bronze)

Story trophy: in The Institute, you will collect a special doll that alters reality — the trophy pops automatically upon collecting it.

Filed Away (Silver)

Collect the 5 dolls from Chapter 4; along with the dolls from other chapters, complete Loose Threads.

Institutionalized (Silver)

Find the 5 apparitions/ghosts in The Institute. They are hidden but not missable: use the collectibles guide or chapter select to search for them one by one.

Hand-Eye Coordination (Silver) — Chapter boss

Requirement: do not die in all interactions with the chapter boss (there are 5 interactions: 2 chases and 3 confrontations). The trophy pops when defeating the boss without dying in those interactions.

Tip: if you struggle, practice each phase with chapter select and learn the patterns before attempting «without dying».

Spanner in the Works (Silver)

Use Alone’s wrench 50 times (breaking jars, glasses, and destructible objects counts). Start collecting destructive interactions from Chapter 1 to accumulate uses.

Loose Threads (Gold)

Major trophy: collect the 25 dolls scattered throughout the game. Obtained after completing all the dolls from the four chapters (5+5+10+5).

From Nowhere, With Love / Low-Spirited (Gold)

These are character-exclusive trophies: From Nowhere, With Love is obtained by completing the entire game using only Alone; Low-Spirited is obtained by completing the entire game using only Low. It is not necessary to play in chronological order: you can alternate chapters in co-op if you maintain the same character.

Special Connection (Gold) — Co-op Chapter 4

Complete Chapter 4 in online cooperative mode — just completing chapter 4 in co-op is sufficient; it is not necessary to complete the entire game in co-op. Requires connection and it is advisable to coordinate with a friend or invite a player who has already unlocked chapter 4.

Miscellaneous / Utility trophies

Hello? (Bronze)

Press the «call» button for your partner (default Triangle) 50 times during any point in the game (not valid after the final boss). Ideal to complete while exploring or replaying chapters.

Guiding Hands (Bronze)

Hold your partner’s hand for a total of 5 minutes (can be cumulative across sessions). Hold the corresponding button while walking to add time.

Bullseye (Silver)

Use Low’s bow 50 times — breaking objects, shooting buttons, or scaring away crows counts. Start early in the game to accumulate uses.

Suggested route for the platinum trophy

  1. First playthrough (familiarization) — 1st game: Play the game naturally with the character you feel most comfortable with. Complete the story and familiarize yourself with secret places. It is not necessary to collect everything here.
  2. Second playthrough (collectibles + chapter achievements): Do the collectibles route: complete dolls by chapter, hunt for Nomes and statues, and perform specific actions (umbrella, piano, balls, candies). Use chapter selection if you need to repeat areas.
  3. Utility and cumulative trophies: while playing, make sure to use the bow (Low) and wrench (Alone) 50 times; call your partner 50 times and hold their hand for 5 minutes across sessions.
  4. Cooperative mode: obtain the Special Connection trophy by completing Chapter 4 in co-op. You can invite someone who already has that chapter unlocked to save time.
  5. Finish with Hand-Eye Coordination: it is the most demanding; practice the boss fight in chapter select mode until you complete all interactions without dying.
  6. Platinum: when you have each trophy, Mastery of The Spiral will pop.

Recommended order: first collectibles and chapter trophies; then cumulative trophies; finally the co-op session and the final boss perfect.

QA — Frequently Asked Questions

How many playthroughs do I need? At least 2: one to get to know the game and another to collect collectibles and trophies for the second character; also, it is recommended to use chapter select for final cleanup.

Are there missable trophies? No: all collectibles can be obtained with chapter select.

Do I need PlayStation Plus? Only if you want to do the Special Connection trophy, which requires online co-op.

What is the hardest trophy? Hand-Eye Coordination is usually considered the most demanding (not dying in all interactions with the Chapter 4 boss).

In summary

Little Nightmares III features a compact and varied list of 32 trophies: a mix of progress, collectibles, cumulative actions, and a cooperative trophy. With minimal planning — following the suggested route — and utilizing chapter selection, Platinum is accessible even for players not seeking speedruns. Prioritize collectibles by chapter and separate co-op sessions from the rest.
